I admire their dedication, & I think they're magnificent people due to it. There are a lot of things in life that are wonderful in abstract theory, but aren't so fantastic in practice. The length of the wedding-ceremony was a bit much for me, & the main reason was my choice of shoe. I had to have some-thing with a heel, but Little did I know that I would have to stand in them for an hour. By the time we were half-way done with the catholic wedding day ceremony, I thought my toes were going to fall off. They hurt like crazy, and my dress was not long enough for me to slide them off for a little comfort. I noticed many of the other girls in the wedding day were shifting around uncomfortably, & when there were moments when we could sit, one could hear an audible sigh of relief from most of the wedding party. Over all, though, the catholic wedding day was beautiful, & I'm glad that my friend and her brand-new husband had the wedding they wanted, and that everything went smoothly. My biggest problem was that I did not know what to expect, and that are worthy of been something that I asked as the planning were being made. She was quite aware that we might be uncomfortable, but she was so frazzled that she mentioned this to us much too late. That's okay though, I would do any-thing for her.
